Luc McCann
A true Wood River Valley native, Luc McCann grew up in Ketchum and was shaped by the mountains, community, and spirit that make this place unlike anywhere else. After attending The Community School, he went on to earn his degree from UC Santa Barbara and spent a decade living the Southern California life — but the pull of home was strong.
In 2014, Luc returned to Ketchum with his family and did what felt natural: he joined his father in real estate, carrying forward a family legacy built on connecting people with the most beautiful homes in one of the most stunning mountain settings in the world. What started as following in his dad's footsteps has become a passion all his own.
Beyond the transaction, Luc is deeply woven into the fabric of this community. He serves as Vice President on the Sun Valley Board of Realtors and as a liaison to Sun Valley Realtors Gives, giving back to the valley that raised him. As a local musician and co-owner of the Liberty Theater, he's a driving force behind bringing the Wood River community together — whether that's spotlighting local bands, hosting fundraisers, or filling the theater for a great film. For Luc, there's nothing better than watching all walks of life share the same room.
When he's not selling homes or running the show at the Liberty, you'll find him on the sidelines coaching BCRD sports alongside his wife Megan and their two daughters, Mykala and Galena.
Mike McCann
Mike McCann's story in the Wood River Valley began in 1973, when he traded Los Angeles for Sun Valley and never looked back. A UCLA graduate and All American athlete, Mike wasted little time planting roots — he entered real estate in 1974, earned his broker's license in 1976, and went on to co-found McCann Daech Fenton, building one of the valley's most enduring real estate legacies.
Five decades later, he's still at it. Few people know this market, this land, or this community the way Mike does — and that depth of knowledge and genuine love for the valley is something clients feel from the very first conversation.
But Mike's investment in Sun Valley has always extended far beyond real estate. Alongside his wife Anita, he has spent decades showing up for this community in every sense — from schools and athletics to the arts, environmental causes, and social initiatives. He has served on the boards of Hospice, The Community School, and Wood River Baseball, among others, reflecting a belief that a great place to live is one worth working to protect and nurture.
When Luc joined him in 2015, it wasn't just a business partnership — it was the passing of a torch that Mike has carried with quiet dedication for over fifty years.
